👍🏼Banded side steps can be a great way to target the outer portion of the hips… BUT I see this exercise done very inefficiently a lot!

❌3 common mistakes are:
➡️Knee collapsing in - driving the knee out with each step will help with Glute activation.
➡️Toes pointing out - when the toes point out it can lead to more TFL work than glute.
➡️Lifting the hips up with each step - when you stay down in a quarter squat position, the exercise becomes much more targeted and difficult.

✅So keep the knees out, toes forward, and hips down next time you do these. You should notice a BIG difference!
