And that's why basic cooking skill is survival skill for everyone. Not just for women

They're so used to flavor that they added more condiments and spice rather than the portion of the meal 😂

“I finally have food freedom” translates to “i don’t know how to cook so my mom finally makes a home meal” 😂😂

The problem isn't lack of food it's not knowing how to survive without mom's cooking

Sounds more like they cant cook. Im in Leicester, a small city with only 2 universities. We have so many korean markets, international markets, east european markets, polish ones, etc.

It's not international students being in different country. It's "momas boys first time living by themselves and no one cooks"

This is more of a skill gap than ingredient gap if you're in South Africa, we have multicultural ingredients in most supermarkets.

Bruh that's not even the host country fault. These students are either used to their family cooking for them or used to go to Chinese restaurants to make food for them. If they want to travel abroad they need to start exploring the country-host foods and flavors. Like bro you kidding me with Korea? They are literally famous with their BBQ restaurants, and you have internet to discover how to make Korean food.

“Regained freedom” They HAD freedom, the problem is they didn’t know what to do with it unless someone made it for them.

This is not a international food problem. This is a pampered student problem. They never learned how to cook. Their parents did everything for them.
