This is so good! I think sometimes those of us who are passionate about apologetics become hyper focused on evidence; rather than the holistic nature of the Gospel. We must remember that God’s LOVE is the backdrop of everything we believe and fight for, not intellectualism. Thanks Mr. B!

Been praying for a couple of childhood friends who were baptized as kids. They grew up as neighbors. We hung out in our church's youth group. Our lives took very different paths. As adults we found each other via social media. They had distanced themselves from Christianity. I've kept praying over them. They have not commented on faith based topics in private messaging. One had become publicly caustic about Christ especially at Christmas. I don't know where he was in his beliefs a few days ago when he passed away from a sudden illness.

He openly says, “I’m going to bypass your intellect and appeal to your conscience” and then goes through the Ten Commandments. The goal is to reach that part that does care and to establish their need for Christ’s solution.
