I can get 2x that render distance in normal minecraft on a pc that is mostly parts 10+ years old, and still be at 75fps (maximum allowed by my monitor.) Either by using distant horizons mod for java, or just vanilla bedrock.

Also their updates are hella cool recently. The newest update is one of the largest ones in a while. Overhauling a mechanic from years ago (bad omen) bringing dog variants (like people have asked for since the start,) adding an overpowered weapon, and despite people saying mojang will nerf it, they actually buffed it. Oh and we cant forget that they made a mob vote animal useful for once.
Also when the game was smaller and it was still under Notch's control, there were weekly updates.
