How I got here…
12 yrs old: Started uploading minecraft videos at youtube.com/@Luke23MC
16 yrs old: Switched to uploading Fortnite videos on this channel. You can go to my uploads sort oldest to newest to see all of my old Fortnite videos
18 yrs old: Switched from Fortnite to Rocket League videos during Covid. I also began coaching players 1-on-1 on www.patreon.com/SpookLuke
19 yrs old: Rocket League went free to play and my channel blew up. To keep up with the demand, started the Grand Champ Roadmap --a rocket league course business
20 yrs old: Built the course while in College and created a coaching-community-course hybrid model. Eventually, drop out of school to pursue Youtube and the company full-time.
21 yrs old: Switched from selling courses to coaching + community only. Transformed GCR into GCB. Doubled coaching duration, cut price in half. Seeing results improve and customers happier was worth making less money.
22 yrs old: @Virge joined as director of coaching to further improve the product and help us make more free Rocket league content that is accessible to everyone.
Today: Coaching + paid communities is how we make our money - not youtube videos or courses.

The thing about these videos is that it’s always tailored to the average audience meaning us higher rated players or bubble players will never seek the advice required to climb.
It’s always appreciated to help the community in any way for guidance on players wanting improvement it just sucks trying to find something I don’t already know to help me with MY journey.

I agree with the philosophy, but my solo queue teammates that think they're better than they are aren't thanking me. They just ask why I'm not crashing the net and overcommitting and trying to ff after one goal.

im probably not going to get a response from luke on this, but i think its worth asking.
so, im a high c1 with significantly worse mechanics than positioning, and i want to ask: so obviously, my mechanics would be better than a plat who has the same issue, so are there any scenarios at my rank where rotating front post would be worth it? or should i wait until i have improved my mechanics a ton?
