Today I will show you how to use a laminator in 1 minute. I may become a fan of these short videos SHORTLY ha-ha.
The laminator I am using is Fellowes Mars A4.
The foil I am using is 2x80 microns (160microns).

► Turn on the laminator and wait until it’s ready. It can take up to 10 minutes. Open the laminating pouch and place the paper inside, in the middle of the laminating pouch. The laminating pouch should be slightly bigger than the paper. When the laminator is ready take the laminating pouch and insert it into the machine (the sealed edge of the pouch should enter first). After laminating leave the paper on smooth surface and wait until it cools off.

► If you laminate small objects – Open the laminating pouch and arrange the objects so they are about 1 cm spaced. (You should cut the objects before, and then after laminating). When the laminator is ready take the laminating pouch and insert it into the machine (the sealed edge of the pouch should enter first). Use a thick cardboard or newspaper to easily place the pouch into the laminator. After laminating leave the paper on smooth surface and wait until it cools off. Cut the objects with scissors first. Then you can use guillotine paper cutter.

►NOTE◄ When cutting leave the glued foil frame (around 1-2mm of the laminating foil). Don’t cut right on your paper item, because the sealed foil will keep the plastic from peeling off.

►WARNING◄ Do not cut the pouch before laminating it, because it could cause a jam inside the laminator.
Do not laminate items printed on a thermal paper such as movie or concert tickets, receipts and etc. The thermal paper contains different chemicals, that react with the heat and they will turn black if laminated.
Don't laminate paper with paperclips or staples.

►NOTE◄ You can choose between a variety of sizes and thicknesses of the laminating film (pouches). In the video, I use size – 216 x 303 (A4) – 160 microns (2 x 80mic). To choose the best laminating pouch size for your project make sure it’s slightly bigger than the paper you will use.
