Guys so I purchased bookmap Global plan but I boought it because of how you guys made it look in youtube shorts like this video, when I click candlesticks it looks nothing like real candles... I just want to know how can I go about making my bookmap interface look identical to what you're showing in this video, thank you.

How do I know that those are sell-Limit orders and not Buy-Stops in favor of the break out?
Is this a dumb question? 😅

May I ask, how do I realize that the strong colored area above are “sell” orders? I see the strong colored areas, however, I am somewhat confused how to tell if they are resting “buy” or “sell” orders?

Correct me if I'm wrong but sell/buy imbalances are much easier to see on a footprint chart right?

So how can I actually backtest this? I come from a fully systematic backround as a trader and I would like to be able to test large data sets, be able to optimize, re-optimize and so on. However the only way I’ve found to access historical data in bookmap is to collect it myself and save it on the computer. And even then, how do I test it? Is there any other way than testing every possibility manually with a huge excel spreadsheet?

So are you saying that using book map the better play is to observe trends in a direction where there is no observed liquidity? In this example it would be better to go short at that liquidity resistance as there is nothing to the downside?
