I have read . The descriptions are so beautiful that it makes us yearn to time travel where there were bullock cart rides and no plastic litter and no pollution. Marakatham helps a lot in the story. Also the hero and heroine are only 20 and 18. Amazing to know that people had such maturity when they were so young. Vaithy & Nagalingam were even more villainous in the story .The drummer pair -Muthurakku and his assistant are a riot. They take a rickshaw ride when shanmugam is admitted in hospital in chennai and get cheated .Funny one. The story continues even after theyre married & i think they go on a trip to Srilanka.
As you may know , Kothamangalm Subbu also wrote another weekly(novel) called Panthanallur Bhama. Similar background.Its also a nice story
