We need high skilled immigrants?? Why not give Canadians the opportunity to gain those skills?? We can barely afford to eat, never mind insane tuition and student loan repayments. We can't afford that education. Why not drastically reduce or eliminate tuition for Canadian born citizens? Want to see our own succeed instead of driving us into mass poverty and dependency? I love immigration but it's absurd here. Stop spending money on bringing people here and invest in those already here!!!!! There's a housing shortage everywhere. No more people until we have our shit straight

Hopefully this encourages the government to actually take the housing and cost of living crisis seriously. We're losing talented people because we lock them out with high costs and many restrictions.
Canada acts like skilled immigrants need to come here, but it's probably easier and cheaper for them to stay in their home country, or if they're from a developing country, go to Europe.

They can go to other provinces and stay let them stay for many years. Canada is a such a big livable country, but these people choose to live in Toronto or Vancouver. I have a good fulltime job but I still need to work part time so I can pay all my bills. Not sure if I’ll have enough aavings for my retirement because everything is just soooo expensive.

Of course. People come to Canada to seek a better life. What they're met with is 5$ for an avocado or 10 for milk.
