My question is if cc1 changes the type of sample that is triggered, piano, forte, fortissimo etc. Why do we modulate cc1 and take the risk of changing the very nature of the sample triggered while we could just automate cc11 to mimic bowing ? I have been asking myself this since yesterday after modulating cc1 and 11 for quite some time in my mock-ups Unless real string players change dynamics inside the same phrase. Do they go from piano to fortissimo inside the same phrase/note ?
