Nothing beats having a special collection of games on nice shelves.

I will say owning physical copies makes me feel special because I can admire the art work and I can hold it in my hands and you can't do that with digital stuff

I will never go 100% digital, been collecting games since the 80's and won't stop. The fact that you can trade physical games with friends/family members or a store/private sale is also a major plus.

Nothing better than having something tangible to hold onto and knowing you actually own your games. I’ll continue to buy physical until it officially dies.

Digital downloads need a mandatory forever ownership regardless of which platform you game on. Games need to work without a internet verification to boot as well, And finally the Price!! Digital Downloads need to be cheaper!! $39.99-$49.99 for major Triple A Titles.

This isn’t just with video games, but our society entirely. The plan is to bring the entire society digital so that it’s easier to control. Look at it from a video game perspective: let’s say you spend 100 on a game and do something or even say something wrong and someone reports it and they decide to ban your account, you not only lose the 100 on that game but you’ve just lost your entire library that you spent hundreds or even thousands on. Whereas if you have a physical copy, ok your account gets banned and you lose your progress, but you still have your entire library to still play

They trying to push their great reset own nothing be happy but I'm purchasing all physical copies because when servers go down with each game which they will and are, I'll still own the game

This is why gaming is going to be dead in the future anyway so no more physical is going to be hard to find and no more games in store and GameStop going to be dead also 😭

I only buy digital if the game is cheap, or digital only, (I refuse to pay $50+ for air) as honestly I still prefer physical copies, and I believe there is still a market and preference for physical games out there.

I even got a few physical games off Limited Run Games, and I understand many don't like their pricing, and how long it takes them to ship some games, but sometimes I'll pay for a physical game, then $10 or $20 less for a digital only that might not be available anymore in 15 years.

Any game I buy now is always a physical copy and I make sure it does not have to connect to the Internet to play. All you have to do is have been through a software company that decides they're going to turn off your game and you can play it no more before you realize they've got you by the you know what

Went into my local Walmart and got Sniper Elite 5 for $5 among four other title for a total of over $27. I kind of see physical copy games coming back as a trend after the digital download craze starts to fade a little.

I don’t like that because if the internet is down your system will be down also😢
