The statement made was harsh but he was just saying that kids are extra with the women. He looked like he had a bad experience. If i married a single mother i need her children to be respectful and well behaved. That would be an asset to give an example.

Single mothers have to understand the question on the table. What is the benefit to a stepfather who uses his resources and time to care for another manās child? Can he reasonably expect love, respect or someone to care for him when sick or elderly?

All I can say to thisā¦ my dad was one and Iām his only child met mom and love her married her and my 3 siblings. I didnāt know we had different fathers until I became around 11 or 12. Iām 37 and the hell my other siblings put my dad through a man that stepped up to the plate something their fathers didnāt do. All I can say is every situation is different and if you havenāt been in it you canāt really speak on it. Some men arenāt āpā or abusive can sometimes go through the worst shit in the house they paid for and helped with rebellious behaviorsā¦ there are some real mvps out here.

Let's go to the root question and skip the fluff question" Why isn't the mother and father raising these children together in one house as they should. A marriage is not all roses. There are thorns along the way, but you don't just leave because you had a disagreement. This is what is wrong with many parents today. There is no accountabilty, no desire to think about the children's future and how Your actions can mold a child's future. Take responsibility and raise what you created.
