Basic recipe:
Olive oil
Some chopped garlic
Crush red pepper
Grape/cherry tomatoes sliced in half
Deglaze with white wine
Cook pasta of choice reserved some pasta water to adjust the sauce
Salt to taste
Add pasta
Pesto:
4 cloves of garlic with some kosher salt
Add handful of basil
Add toasted pine nuts
Add maybe 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
Add 1/3 cup of Parmesan
Add to pasta and topped off with more good Parmesan
