So I was driving along the Pahiatua Track (just outside Palmerston North, New Zealand) which is a rural 100 kilometers per hour stretch of road, and the car in front of me suddenly slows right down to a near halt. Then out from in front of their car waddles this tiny little pug pup. I turned my hazard lights on and got out of my car to try and carry it off the road but the pup took off running up the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. I signaled to a passing car to watch out then got back in my car and followed it up the road more. I Pulled over again next to it...and he took off up the middle of the road again which is when I got a heart attack because at this point we were on an S-bend and a slow massive tractor with a line of cars behind it was coming around the corners. If I hadn't pulled over and waving my hands about like a maniac one of the cars or worse, the tractor, would have definitely hit the poor thing. I got close to it and it took of back up the road we'd just come from again, so I drove after him again which is when I started to record this. I am pleased to say the pug pup is now safe.
