I think the volume is a big factor and that isn’t mentioned here. I get mine pretty long but I have them wispy and varied and it helps a lot. I also have deep set eyes so it’s not as extreme (especially when paired with glasses).

If you've got big eyes, you might really suit longer lashes though. I have large eyes. And I can take 16mm lashes and they look natural. But they look silly if they're too thick and long
