Trying to be perfect all the time? It's exhausting, and it creates a barrier between us.

I think you are being too hard on yourself! You built a great following doing it the way you did and now you are ready to change! Sounds like life! Good for you.

As a few others have said, I do really like your old videos which minimised distraction from the environment, but I also am a great believer that once we tire of our own process then we have every right to change it. And as a fellow perfectionist I also understand the freedom in learning to let go. I am your follower, perfect videos or not. The older videos will always serve those who need them, and your newer videos can serve you and those of us able to use them. Thank you for your honesty Sarah Beth!

Sarah, you are my favorite yoga instructor. You may never hear my "Namaste" back to you each time, but I tell you this, and "Thank you" every time. I started my first yoga class in St. Louis at a YMCA....that was 24 years ago, and I now live in California. You are the best. You don't expect perfect from me, and you mention this in your videos. I never expect a perfect Sarah, yet you are perfect to me, and head and shoulders above others. Thank you so much. Excellent instruction. The amalgam of authentic intention, your aura, the energetic connection, the resonance. My mind, body, soul heals. Namaste. 🕊️🙏🏼

I have to say that you’re the only yoga person I follow on utube. I’ve tried others, but I much more preferred the way you have created your classes. I LOVE the voiceover because your voice is so calming and not echoey as it can be in a room. Love the beautiful background music you use. I’m not a good mediator, but somehow when I do yoga with you I’m able to get into a real zen like space. I personally don’t enjoy all the extra talk during a practice. I find it distracting. It’s fine before or after just not during. Another reason is I do your videos over and over again.
As for the white screen, it’s fine , but maybe for you it would be more enjoyable in a beautiful zen like setting?
Obviously these are just my little opinions, but I gather you’re wanting to know what your audience is enjoying or not. In the end though you should do what makes you happy. 😊

I’m here for that!!!! I am such a fan of your page, you my favorite yoga channel. There’s nothing wrong with wanting your content to be the best you can make it, cause at the end of the day it is your art! But your voice is sooo relaxing, voiceover or not, it will still be amazing and we will still be able to feel your wonderful energy ✨

I understand it is a lot of stress and you need a lot of resources and money to create a perfect video with voice backdrop clear sound backgrounds on the video but that helps us to follow your video and that differentiates your video from other 1 million videos of yoga. I have tried many Online yoga classes and boys light background clear instruction is what missing in that live online sessions

Sometimes it’s good to just let go and be real. Be yourself, be silly, be imperfectly perfect you!

Thank Sara, your videos will always be greatly appreciated. I turn to a lot of yoga routines to calm down, be present, and take deep breaths and center.
That’s the best part is trying not to be perfect, but just to be yourself and simply exist. So of course, you should too…!
Thank you for sharing your light with the world.:)

I rarely comment on stuff like this. But I had really bad back pain in 2016 and tried a few yoga stuff- they all sucked. Yours was the only one my wife and I could follow. It got us into yoga and we even went on a yoga retreat in Bali a few years ago. Over time I’ve stopped doing as much until last week when I messed my back up again! So we’re back doing your videos each day, I’m sure it’s fine to try something new but your videos are by far the best ones for us! Thanks for everything you’ve done

I am very here for this!!! As a recovering perfectionist with ADHD, perfect is exhausting! Let loose. Be YOU. AUTHENTIC YOU.

I love your videos, just the way they are. I like the fact that you don’t talk a lot because I can concentrate more on my poses.

I never felt your style to be overly perfect, but it is lovely to see you evolving constantly. True to you (and other teachers 🙂) for 7 years and still going. Love & all the best to you and your familiars from Basel in Switzerland

This is exactly why I never vibed with your videos. The perfectionism triggered me because that is a wound I have too. We're waking up together. So glad to hear you acknowledge this! I've been working through this with my therapist for awhile myself 🙌🙌

I've been using your videos on and off for years. It was never about the "perfection" but the flow or mindset they had to offer. Don't be too hard on yourself and keep putting out good content like you have.
