What does the thermal valve do after you flip it? Doesn't it still activate and move the valve in the opposite direction since its flipped? Wouldn't that close the top passage therefore not allowing any fluid to go through?

Why not just remove it completely? I know and remember the 5R55 series where you put the valve in backward and it had continuous cooler flow, but there is no bypass hole there.

Do you have any long term experience with this mod? I am in the middle of a build (repair of a build actually) and can’t find a new valve, don’t have time to wait for an aftermarket one. I am concerned about pressure stability or other potential issues.

So im assuming that you should change the cooling lines before doing this ... Since the bypass will have the lines unblocked
