Fun fact. This attorney & uber driver was recently arrested for human trafficking / profiting from prostitution.

The driver is an Uber driver and an attorney at the local courthouse. He had picked up his fair at work, which is a dog grooming shop. The fair asked for an additional stop at his bosses residence to puck up his paycheck. The bosses house was being watched by law enforcement because it was suspected that drugs were being distributed from the residence.
So, the Uber arrives and the passenger exits the vehicle. The passenger is only gone for under 5 minutes, and he gets back in the Uber and they take off. It looks like a drug buy or drop off. So, law enforcement swoops in and initiates the traffic stop.
When the Police Sgt. tells the driver to stop recording, the driver states "Yes, I know the law. I should know the law, I am an attorney as well." The police Sgt. remarks, "an attorney and an Uber driver?" The driver then stated "Do want to see my BAR Card?", as he is pulling it out of his wallet. Which shuts the police Sgt. down and he runs off. The Deputy Sheriff, later recognizes the driver and states "Oh, you work in Department 23" and they get to gabbing.
Remember kids, the cops can legally lie to you to get you to do what they want, or stop what they dont like, including stopping the video recording of their interaction with you. Recording during any interaction is for your safety and theirs,.... video keeps everyone honest.... most of the time. đ

In a state like North Carolina, where there is no citizens arrest protections. Can an officer direct you to tackle and hog tie a wanted subject if you see him. And threaten to arrest you. If you donât apprehend this one in person for him. Then follow through with the rest, having never seen the one of the individual on my property. What am I supposed to do? Go full punisher and go out hunting this person.
