The wide neck opening on onesies is so when they have a diaper leak you can pull the onesie down to take it off instead of lifting the mess up over their head.

Now that's a great idea ! My kids are all grown but I still remember feeling awful anytime I had to

We had to face it real hard when my daughter was born thirty years ago.
The disposable diapers had not made their entry into our country and so we had to use cotton diapers and these magical hacks to quite the fussy babies were not known either
But we managed somehow and I quietly promised myself that I would not go through the same things again. My husband cooperated and we had only one child
