I rode a stretched Hayabusa one time. Was going 15 in 2nd gear. I pinned it because i was an idiot and had only ridden my own 500s. Couldn't see for two second and when i let out i was doing 85 in a residential neighborhood... Pulled up to my buddy and told him he shouldn't have let me try it out đ

Had a Triumph Speed Triple 1050 and this is so true. They just egg you on... wheelie? Wheelie? Wheelie? 120mph? I was way too immature and unskilled for that bike. Nearly killed me. Got a limp and two shot hips as a life lesson. No regrets, and I love that damn bike. Thing is... no amount of good advice would have stopped me. Some of us need the trial by fire and some don't make it. I mean, damn, I was handling insurance claims for bike accidents, sometimes fatalities, and I thought to myself, yeah, I want to this as a hobby...

As someone who rode a busa for the first time a few months back (gen 1) ur correct, very easy to ride. Also very easy to go fast. I decided to crack the throttle a bit and next thing I knew I was doing over 100 mph. Thankfully on an open straight road. But the bike is by far boring. As I ended up pilly on it after down some b roads and that bitch was so nice in the corners it genuinely shocked me. Fun bikes tho

16 years ago a guy was working in his new busa in northern Alberta near the Gass station I worked at. Running through gears zooming up an inclined service road parallel to a highway. Lots of big trucks crossed the highway or turned on to it from the uncontrolled intersection my Gas station sat at.
After midnight reading the paper I hear him rev up go through a few years then just hear a big dong/ping sound. Look up the bike is ghosting off into the ditch. Ran up. Saw buddy and when I got closer I saw the real shit. His head was no longer there. Still in the smashed helmet 40 yards away.
He hit the pipe hanging off the end of the truck.

Four wheels for life.
I 100% respect motorcycles and if I see one in my rv mirror I make room and get a thank you hand all the time, but I wonât be tempted to end my life on two wheels anytime soon. Because I probably will.
Sometimes itâs good to be self aware before going out buying things you donât need.

It is the best bike you can buy if you are not an idiot.
For commuting it's actually quite good
You get amazing and MPG out of it because it's so aerodynamic.
The best thing is you can overtake anything in your way.
Fortunately I never got a ticket or any complain about me doing something wrong.
Of course if you are open the throttle body completely at 100 kilometers per hour it's just a few seconds and you hit 200 km an hour.
That's also the reason why you can actually overtake anything extremely quickly.

My coworker is 53 and he bought himself for his first bike guess what⌠a literal turbo busa. Heâs had it for 2 years now and it doesnât work more than it does work. Its was brand new out of the shop that built it and it is really an art piece in how nice it is but the parts donât hold up like the swingarm, chains being too long causing rash on the chain axle housing, coil packs burning up, fuel system not right. Fast ass a missile tho when it works.

Jeremy Clarkson said something similar about the Bugatti Veyron; "your mother could drive it."
