The PLXT wasn't designed for a 3 pound spine test lol it's a light use knife. Also, it cost $117 not $179. I like the idea, but these comparisons are strange and further the newbies misconceptions about what sort of "hard use" a knife should reasonably be able to endure.

Not one knife i would buy. The closest is the spyderco but they are overpriced. The rest are just ridiculous.
I don't believe any production knife is worth more then $150 and that is extremely high.
