As a Lifelong Cowboy fan who grew up watching Tom Landry coach I was always amazed at how he managed his team. Coach Landry was always a gentleman and a true leader both on and off the field, I had the pleasure of meeting him once as a teenager and I had already torn my knee up and couldn’t play, he said, “Have faith in yourself and those around you and you will find your success”. Coach Landry was a Giant among men and we were all inspired in some way by his humble nature.

Thank you for this. When I was teaching at a university I used to often tell my students, play to your strengths. Do what you're good at, and do it again. Young people today are constantly being bombarded by the message that they somehow should and can be good at everything, but that's impossible.
