If this is the same one I saw before, op is not the a**** but neither are the friends. It's a surprise birthday party for op too they just didn't know how to invite op without catching on so they went with a bad choice, apparently with the okay for a parent. Op's friends aren't mean, just stupid.

I got a few questions. Does your brother have a girlfriend? If he doesn't, It seems like one of the girls in your group is trying to gather brownie points by throwing this dinner for him since it seems like he doesn't have a girlfriend but you do. I would go but sit outside in my automobile to your brother gets there. Then I will get out of the automobile and walk in with him as well. I would at just a surprise as my brotherAnd watch how everyone reacts. You will find out the truthIn about 3 seconds once They see that their plan has fallen apart. Make sure you watch your brother too. He could be innocent all of This.

You sound like a selfish person. These people wanted to do something nice for your brother. So what if they didn't include you. Because your twins doesn't mean you have to do everything. Let your brother enjoy his birthday. I get it your birthday too. But you can have a separate birthday party for yourself.

NTA. OP has just as much right to decide if he wants to go to the party just like they had the right to make him a "guest" for a surprise party on his birthday for his TWIN brother... They were more than welcome to throw the b-day party only for the brother, but completely forgetting the fact that it's OP's b-day as well and getting mad at him for not wanting to attend is pretty shitty. It's not even that he's mad about not getting the party to be about him... He's mad because everyone is treating him like a 2nd class citizen on his b-day while his brother gets everything.
