Idc if my partner has pictures of their exs as long as it’s not a nude or sexual picture ten I’m fine with it because I personally think it’s weird for ANYBODY to keep pictures of their exes nudes/sexual picture

I agree with everything you said when it comes to keeping gifts and photos. If something was given to be by an ex and it’s quietly minding its business stored away in a box somewhere, why in the hell would something like that bother you? I enjoy remembering my past and laughing at silly things I experienced. This is exactly why I married someone who didn’t live their life trying to make others forget their past for the sake of appeasing their fragile ego. I hate a man with lack of self-esteem. I wouldn’t advise anyone, man or woman to deal with anyone like that. My husband enjoys seeing pics from people in my past, because he’s able to put a face to some of the wild stores that I tell sometimes. I wish he had pics. But he moved here from another state and left most of his belongings behind after his mother passed away. I think this is why he enjoys my photo albums so much.

My fiancé has a problem with me having pictures of me and my son’s dad on my phone. It’s not because I want to see them, I’m saving them for my son. I love seeing pictures of my parents when they were younger. I want him to have those of his dad and me even though we aren’t together anymore.

In Māori culture, you MUST show up w something, anything (toilet paper if you will) AND do the dishes. You can’t just camp out and expect to be looked after without paying it forward and back 👀

Anyone that expects me to get rid of things just because they came from an ex or are related to an ex isn't the person for me. I don't have time for that level of insecurity. I'm friends with some exes. Cool with almost all the others in a way that we'd hug if we saw each other. I'm not fielding someone else's insecurities. That's a personal problem. People have value outside of if we are boning in that moment and I don't have feelings for exes. But I also don't have super close relationships with my family. Found family is important. If I had only dated people who wanted to throw me away because we aren't seeing each other would have made a very lonely life for me
