Youâre missing the nurture part of this equation.
I donât think itâs fully transparent to say that the root cause is genetics, when the root cause is going to be a series of inputs resulting in the schizophrenia output.
Asian people are genetically at higher risk for diabetes as a result of weight gain related complications. Also heart disease.
Thats why their BMI scale is different than ours.
Their genetics donât âcauseâ these issues in the way that theyâre destined to become ill.
Itâs a genetic predisposition.
Just like schizophrenia.
Youâre almost saying something but not quite.
With the genetic observations we have available- the observation isnât merely a conclusion.
Itâs a question.
Is there a way to identify genetic predisposition and prevent schizophrenia onset by better studying the relation between the predispositions weâve observed and environmental triggers (be it trauma or something as covert as say mold exposure)
