⏺️ Use Gemini in Google Messages ⏺️

You can chat with Gemini in the Google Messages app to draft messages, brainstorm ideas, plan events, or simply have a fun conversation.

1) An Android device with 6GB of RAM or higher.

2) Your phone’s language set to a supported language. English in all countries where Gemini in Messages is available. French in Canada only.

3) The latest version of Google Messages . Get it on Google Play.

4) A personal Google Account that you manage on your own. You can’t use Gemini in Google Messages with a Google Account managed by Family Link or with a Google Workspace account.

5) Be 18 or over.

6) RCS chats turned on.

🚨 Important:- Chats with Gemini aren’t end-to-end encrypted.

1) On your Android phone, open Google Messages.

2) Tap the chat with Gemini, or tap Start chat and then Gemini.

3) For the first time, follow any on-screen instructions.

4) Enter your question or prompt. The first time you chat with Gemini, you can explore different conversations. Just tap a suggestion above the message field.

5) Optionally, to add a photo to your prompt, tap Show attach media screen.

6) Tap Send message
