GOD USED SICKNESS TO PUNISH MANY TIMES IN THE OLD TESTAMENT HE Don'T HAVE TO REPEAT HIMSELF. Sickness also comes under the word affliction. I believe GOD ALLOWED sickness so that he can show his power and ability to heal restore and renew
