Brazilian here, the irccm problem got fixed in the maa-1b piranha missile, it isnt in the game bc only the brazillian jas39 gripen, the missile also got better motors and a little bit harder G pull, but it is in development

Wow. This is in fact correct! Brazilian Air Force dropped this AAM in early 2000s because it was a flare eater! Also the sensor was AIM9P comparable at best...
This missile was intended to replace the AIM9B but got ready too late to the party (mid 90s)
The Python lll replaced it by 1997 and then got replaced itself by the
Python lV and Derby in 2006-2008.
