How good to have the world wide front row code word for safety. That's brilliant.

Such an important story.

I really enjoyed this ep! We stockpiled the pods to listen while on a roadtrip around Ireland

Player safety is paramount. I love footy, I love watching athletes go to battle, but I don’t want to see life threatening injuries occur.

It is worth noting that at that time, a lot of teams had begun to use the "fake" injury tactic to break a team's momentum, or buy some time when tired or run down the clock. And Aussie under Eddie Jones were certainly not shy from doing it either. It's a very common tactic now and all the more egregious because it puts players with legitimate injuries at risk of not being taken seriously.

You should go see Meuws interview after the event where they asked him why he stopped in such a high stakes moment and he said straight up "I don't want that on my conscience"
