I could not sleep on my back when I was pregnant. In the US I read in one of my books not to sleep on mz back in the latter part of pregnancz because of lack of oxygen to the babz. However, I couldn-t ....it was suffocating me let alone the baby. God bless you...I hope this message gets to a lot of people!

Thank you for sharing this. I'm sorry for your loss, she was beautiful. My Grandson was born sleeping at full term 17 days ago. Another piece of valuable information is that towards the end of pregnancy, if you notice that your baby is moving in a "frantic", "crazy", or otherwise extremely active manner, it can be a sign of fetal distress. My daughter experienced this, but thought he was just active because she had just drank juice. It was so out of the norm she actually videoed it. After my grandson passed away, I did a lot of research and found that this uncharacteristicly active period (hers lasted 15-20 minutes) was noticed in something like 40% of stillborn births. It's not normal activity. The mothers often report it as "frenzied", "frantic", or "crazy", and like I said, it can be a sign of fetal stress or even seizures. If you notice this, please go get checked at the doctor and insist they check to make sure the cord isn't wrapped around the babies neck. If we had known this, perhaps my sweet grandson could have been saved. 😢
