Oh yes, I had a recent one when meeting a customer and she used the "I'm an architect" and just felt from the moment I met her shed be trouble. More red flags than an Aussie beach.

Dead right. Sometimes people try to get right into your head, to where you think that they are doing YOU a favour by letting you do their tricky job. You get home and think to yourself, why on earth did I agree to that? Now I've GOT to go back there. It's like you get hypnotised for a moment. Happens.

My dad taught me to plaster and he would work a customer out as soon as heβd met them. Like a 6th sense
Then when Iβd took over things heβd warn me about certain customers
Such as youβll struggle to get paid or you will never please this 1
At first Iβd laugh it off but 90% of the time he was right so I learned to listen π
