A theory I have is that PlayStation didn’t invest too much into the Portal because they invested in the VR2 , which plays quite well and has a high resolution, and so the PlayStation Portal got the short end of the stick. They could have worked with AMD to build a Portal APU and optimize the games for it, but that requires more R & D

It feels like Xbox is really late to the party with portable, especially when there was already a way to play Xbox games on the go game pass specifically. If Xbox were to pull off something like a portable consul, they would have to take inspiration from Nintendo and the steam deck instead of having to do the same idea as the PlayStation and give us just a tablet with a controller slapped on it with duct tape. instead, it should be its own handheld consul with the games you can play on it probably via the disc you can inject in the back but like a PSP or do a Nintendo route and use a cartridge this might take a lot of time optimizing it however, it can work if they give it enough time maybe they can add a game pass to the portable consul but it’s really up to Xbox at this point they’ve been on a really good rise recently.
