We both went to my guys neurologist today and I asked nicely for the neurologist to explain to my guy why he made the decision to prevent my guy from doing a certain skill. Life is hard and I’m not diminishing the pain and trauma of this decision but my guy is dealing with a brand new diagnosis of dementia and autism. Nobody is concentrating on the autism by the way with the big elephant that is dementia being in the room. However the autism is actually my biggest nightmare.
My guy believes I gave him autism and that I am the only one preventing him from utilizing his life skill. The news from the neurologist was very hopeful as metabolically my husband is improving which can only mean so is this dementia. But my guy is sitting there giving me all these disgusting looks to the point he is nearly doing what those cats do you know with the hissing and clawing. It was hilarious as I could see the neurologist was catching all this but never addressing it. Pretending like he had not seen it, so I called it? We both laughed. Aww laughter. What would I do without it?

I can only imagine your frustration right now. No doubt your text is deserving of some kind of Pulitzer award, seriously. It will have the best thought out choice in words, carefully chosen so as not to inflict pain or burden on your significant other. He will not even read it, darlin.
It is so infuriating.
