Bucks County Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia said her comments about ignoring a Pennsylvania Supreme Court precedent were taken out of context.
Ellis-Marseglia said people misinterpreted an āinartfully worded statement on my partā when she voted to ignore the courtās directive to disqualify ballots that were not signed or dated properly. Ellis-Marsegliaās comments have attracted criticism from Republicans and Democrats, as well as accusations that the county was attempting to subvert an election in favor of Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA).

I would like to know how she thinks her statements were taken out of context when thereās video vigor her basically giving the middle finger to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Contact your legislature and have them create a law that any willful violation of the laws sparks an automatic removal and criminal charges as a rule. No citizen should have to cough up funds to challenge illegally acting officials. The cost of the trial should be paid for out of pocket by the offending official and not one dollar of tax payer money should be allocated to the trial.
