I think to some extent, yes. I work at a company that uses SO. MUCH. PAPER. And it kills me the way it does the trees everyday. Inwork with a bunch of boomers who refuse to go electronic because their eyes prefer paper. My boss literally print out a list of questions rather than just emailing them to me... I had 2 interviews today and one company is fully remote/electronic.

If this is something that's important to you, then absolutely you should work somewhere that aligns with your beliefs. However, this is also the reason why it's important to research the company you're interviewing for before you accept the job. Not only does it give you more ammo when you're asked the dreaded, "why do you want to work with us," question, but you also get to see if it's even somewhere you want to be working or if there are questions you want to bring up during the interview 😉

This SOUNDS great and all, but this is yet another example of how easy it is to be "good" if you are well-off/financially stable. A lot of working-class people are lucky to have the job that they DO have in order to put food on the table. Instead of celebrating quitting a job like this, maybe we should push for more environmentally friendly policies to be enforced on all businesses

The 45% is a stat pulled out of nowhere.
