Structural Straps on top plate for the load bearing wall, and I would have them replace that stud that they gutted out.

I designed and built my own home. By myself. I had the foresight to have all the plumbing in one wall which I built as a 2x8 wall. Even though it was not load bearing. My home is single story so all the vents were just 2”.

Accommodate for plumbing. Not hard architects. Trying to put 9 pounds of shit in a one pound bag! 6 " wall boom done no structure issues!
