Lets be real. "The people" won't be deciding anything. He's only going to be reading suggestions from active Twitter users. Exactly how representative is that? Or are all people going to be required to have a Twitter account in order to have a "say" in government spending.
So many simpletons......

Yeah, who would want the people to decide what they want cut how dare they? Are you kidding me this is exactly what needs to be done. Let the people decide what departments are inefficient and unnecessary and get rid of them. I don’t want the government to decide these things We’re far more intelligent than you think.

Now let's play a game. You're 100 and you're presented with 10 expense items (pensions, healthcare , education,... ).
Of course, given your job, occupations and whatnot, you didn't have time to educate yourselves on these measures, so you'll just take the word of a childish billionaire as to why they are wasteful.
Each item profits 10 of you because of your different needs.
The billionaire who assumes it's a game because none of them matter to him shows you these items and each of them gets refused by a score of 90-10. Worse! Once you saw people didn't want to keep your items, you're certainly not going to let them have theirs.
What do you have left ? Oh yeah, more tax cuts for offshore billionaires, more money for musk's mars project, what a great idea...
And do you believe his stupid projects will be on the list? Like underground cars, mars colony or hyperloop, are they wasteful enough ? Probably not, he'll most certainly filter them out.

Our Air Force overpaid a soap dispensing bottle from Boeing by more than $15,000. Gamify all you want.
