I used to have a little beer gut in high school, I used to suck in my stomach to make myself appear skinny. Although it was great exercise for my abdominal muscles, I had to be conscious about holding the vacuum and when I wasnโt, they belly was showing. Itโs completely natural to have fat since itโs a way to store energy in the body. Maintaining this took an immense amount of toll on my mental health. When I would face stress in my life, I would resort to eating and living a sedentary life. I could have decided to accept that and proudly show my dad bod but I knew deep down it wouldnโt change the initial feeling that I was lazy and addicted to the dopamine and compulsive eating.
Either I had to suppress my trauma and accept that it will be okay or force myself to change my lifestyle. Resistance train, go for a walk to clear my mind, or run to strengthen my heart. The hard work made me realize that it was okay and my depression went away and let me focus on myself more than I ever could before.
Also Gluttony is a sin

This is very funny and I love your comedy!! There is historical precedent for what you are doing. Obese people in the Middle ages were considered funny. People would pay to laugh at them. Even in the 1920s there were carnivals with obese people. You are simply continuing the great tradition of the big comedy character. Thank you so much for continuing the practice and doing your work!

You did a good job with this comment on the kinds of judgments and biases people with overweight encounter. Some people may not understand the point you're making. I think you pulled it off really well and as someone who has been on the receiving end of "well-intentioned" advice, shaming, and bias, I totally get and enjoy the humor โค
