Until you run into issues
Dude coulda just said your cards gonna overheat and crash constantly unless you learn to overclock properly and set up all your fans just right; different games react to different clocks differently and on top of that driver updates change the way the overclocking actually functions bc Rdna3 had a lot of issues and they’re finally gettting ironed out. There’s a lot that you can do wrong and it’s hard to figure out why the clock speeds are the same half the time but the temps are drastically different.
These cards run better cold which leaves more headroom to stay at boost clock speeds. Setup your overclock with that in mind, don’t arbitrarily add 15% to the power limit and youll figure it out quickly. Also there’s a -14 offset for vram. If you want 2700 you’d set 2714 etc.
I don’t recommended exceed 2700 in any scenario.
This is because that extra power is extra heat; and when your xtx hotspot hits 110c it’s gonna start having problems. As long as your GPU hotspot stays under 110 and is within 20ish degrees of your card temp then you’re rock solid.
And before you say it was my vapor chamber I don’t use a reference card. Gtfo lol..
