This is part two of a Magnetic Loop antenna demonstration. In this video you can hear QRP SSB from an Icom IC-705 using a 13ft circumference magnetic loop tuned by an MFJ-933C to an Icom IC-7800 using a Cushcraft R6. The stations are W6VM and KC8ZKI located approx 5 miles apart (thus we are demonstrating ground wave propagation). Note the high noise level on the receiving end, partially the result of QRP level transmission, also typical of verticals and in stark contrast to the low noise level demonstrated in the Part I magnetic loop reception video.
