I feel like gravel wont help shift the fish poop down into the layers. If you're going with the father fish no water change natural ecosystem set up that is. Or am I wrong? I'd like to be completely wrong. I personally prefer the look of gravel but recognize the benifits of sand. I have a planted giant fish bowl with "fine" gravel, and would like to transition it to dirted.
