That was comedic how they all came off at the same time. Glad you're safe though mate!

The way the claps lightly let go is funny to me cause I’m used to it trying to launch the clamps to kingdom come

Happened to me with a drill bit that got stuck in a piece of 5mm stainless steel. My HUGE Alzmetall 4HP drill press picked um the workpiece AND THE 12KG CAST IRON VICE IT WAS CLAMPED IN, tore it off of it's fixings and started spinning that around at about 400 rpm. No hitting the E-Stop anymore, DUCK AND COVER as the solid cast iron contraption was chucked across the shop. Scariest moment of my life

We've all been here one time or another unfortunately. Hole saws make it extra scary though

Hi! This chatter is because of the high rpm the drill press is making. The bigger the drill diameter the slower the rpm! Get your cutting speed constant over every drill size. Good luck with future projects!

As a retired fully intact engineer, remember the saying 'everyone gets one', think twice before pressing the green button, and instinctively know where the emergency stop is. Keep safe for the future. Enjoyed the other shorts.

Love the SAFETY FIRST respiratory protection...not sure about tool safety?

Red letter day! Setups are tricky, yule finger it out, stay safe! I would(not that you asked) mount it to a baseplate, then clamp the plate down. Like a. Hunk of plywood, with a frame made of 2x just the size of the stock, on the top of the plate.
