God bless Master Sgt. Murray. She rests in peace. My late Mother, then Patricia H. Jordan, enlisted in 1943. She was stationed at a military aircraft manufacturing facility in Kansas City. Later, degreed in English by Kansas University, she was a teacher of impoverished second grade students for many years. The school's principle, nearing his retirement, took me aside and said "Bill, your mother is the finest educator, of any grade level, that I have encountered in my career". After she passed, her brother told me she attained the rank of Sergeant. Mother told me, "In our lives there is no room for fear". She received full military honors. First thing, Vandergrift called a press conference to announce that "I despise the word RESERVE applied to the new group of women Marines because there is nothing reserved about them" Semper Fi.

Even though I’m not enlisted in the military. It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female you’re still a marine no matter what. RIP MASTER SGT. MURRAY
