It's not just trauma it's an evolutionary need to be with a man who has the highest chance of success/that is capable of violence thus he'll be able to protect the woman/children..they are the risk takers,they have the highest level of confidence which leads to being a great sexual performer and ultimately they don't care about a single woman they switch to another one easily..all of these things make them arousing even though long term they are a terrible option..
