Two different backs with two different roles. D Mont is a bruiser that runs it up the gut so no surprise he doesn’t get the YPC and YAC Gibbs gets out in space. As long as D Mont maintains the volume I dont see much changing for Gibb’s fantasy outlook this year

I think you’re wrong on this one Dave. Montgomery isn’t going to lose that job unless he gets hurt and gibbs is unstoppable or he starts fumbling. But if they’re both healthy he probably won’t be the short yardage and end zone guy. It will take a Montgomery injury to reach his potential.

Nope. Monty isn’t going anywhere, he’s the hammer that Dan Campbell is gonna use to wear these defenses down. Monty will get 15-20 touches every week as long as he stays healthy. Gibbs will remain a change of pace/3rd down receiving back just like Swift was when he was there…..but to an even lesser extent because Monty is much better than Jamal Williams was.
