I have used CApture One since the begining before it was even a editing program and was just a Capture software. And because C1 decided to make it completely different working than your OS or other programs basic methods, you never remember on how to use it. Even when I used it for weeks at a time, back to back. SOme thing you remember, and then forget. It does a good job, but if I cant get up and run with it then its not worth using it. In the start C1 relied a lot of the software trainging for income, and you would have to get training, and pass a test. I took this training, and I did pass it. But this still didnt enable me to use the software naturally. The other thing is I dislike Adobe and a rental model, so it was hard for me to make this choice, although I owned both of them. Due to ease of use, I kept going back to LR. Also, C1 kept having issues, and forced an upgrade, so it wasn''t like you could use the software without upgrading. Ironically, LR desktop version has been working rather well, with a few issues in past for a pretty good while, and that has been great for the $ spent.
