The King James Bible does not follow a word for word translation. It follows verbal equivalence and formal equivalence. It will use what is not called "dynamic" equivalence when it is necessary because the grammar and syntax are too different.
Word for word is not the same has verbal equivalence. Word for word would not make any sense in English at all and would be a bad translation.

Secondly, the English of the time was NOT easier than the KJB. It is the exact opposite. Have you not read the Translators to the Reader or the works of King James himself? Shakespeare is contemporary with King James and his works are much harder than the KJB for modern speakers.
It seems from this short they're trying to say this as a way to glorify the Greek and Hebrew because he trys to argue the KJV English is "higher" because it translated "word for word". This is false. It didn't translate word for word and if it did it wouldn't be a good translation. It used verbal equivalence the vast majority of the time but that is not "word for word". The KJV is in English and uses English grammar and syntax as it should. Its greatness is that it is so good that if you didn't know any better you might think that the Bible was originally written in English.
The KJBRC stands for the right Bible but has so many weak and bad arguments for it.
