i wish not being invited or not really being good at making friends was most of a my trauma from childhood. i have AuDHD and am trying to get diagnose of possible sever ptsd as i have unlock a whole bunch of memories which oef children of my own age and younger legit tried to put me into the hospital on almost a weekly bases from 4 to 17 y/o… yet no one believed me that my injures were caused by other children. please watch out for the kiddo’s in your life as most kids are more vicious than you think

35, diagnosed at 33 in Germany(here we get it for free if we wait long enough). I also have to say due to the autism we also have a lack of a sense if people mean sth in a good way or bad way(if it’s not served on the silver plate- that’s also the reason why some ppl think some of us are dumb although my IQ eg is 134) that increases the risk that we get into situations in which we get seriously hurt(physically, se*ually, emotionally). I learned that the hard way. Especially as a (quite beautiful) woman working in a male dominated field.

There is a researcher called Michael Bohas who has been looking into the effects of social invalidation in developing Borderline Personality Disorder. I find the splitting of self (primary structural dissociation) to be very similar to autistic masking. (Autism/trauma is my current special interest topic) thanks for making this video 😊

CPTSD isn't a bunch of "mini" traumas. They can be multiple major traumas, like being hit or sexually abused daily.

I didn't talk until I was three y.o., but when I finally did it was in full sentences and developmentally appropriate. I thought it was bc my parents were fighting 2 much to get a word in edgewise! Only diagnosis is dysthymia and ptsd but my whole life...gen x - I avoid therapy, maybe I shouldn't! Perhaps therapists and psychiatrists are better informed nowadays about neurodivergency and I might be better served now than I was previously?

CPTSD isn’t minor traumas it’s chronic Trauma like not what people often say as trauma but Trauma with a capital T and that isn’t talked about enough with neurodivergent. Being neurodivergent causes awful pain and is traumatic with a small t and valid but CPTSD is something else..

I have combined adhd. I also have a decent amount of trauma, ive developed alot of anxiety, i might have ptsd, long term depression. Im ight have missed 1 or 2 things 😂🤦🏽

Hello, I love your videos . I am a mother of a HFA teen. It has been a learning experience to understand my son. He was diagnosed at 17. I am trying everything I can afford to learn him, support him, and teach him about himself hoping he will want to learn more on his own. I showed him your videos and he asked if you are neurodivergent as well? Just being curious.
