Personally, I like how unashamed it seems to be about being a comic book movie. It's wearing its weirdness on its sleeve whilst still aiming to be a good film, and I respect that.

I like the presence of other heroes, it gives the world a lived in feel. Superheroes are here and they’ve been a part of our world for a minute. No need to set them up and give their backstory, just make them interesting characters. Using people like Mr. Terrific, Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl, and Metamorpho is pretty smart, they’re characters we’d never get around to otherwise and let’s face it, wouldn’t be able to carry their own film. Gunns already said he’s not trying to set up any spin off films with them, they’re just here.
