The eight patients ranged in age from 6 to 78. Five of the victims had gunshot wounds, while the other three were admitted for smoke inhalation. Of the smoke inhalations, Danic said two patients were discharged and one remains intubated.

Danic said one of the gunshot wound victims was shot in the chest and abdomen multiple times and remains in critical condition. Another was shot in the abdomen and remains in critical condition but is mostly stable, Danic said.

One of the victims had died in the emergency department, and another man was shot in the leg. The child victim had an injury to the arm and was taken to another hospital once stabilized, Danic said.
